Happy Friday, Families!  ISTEP testing is here.  Fourth graders will be testing M, Tu, W, and Th of next week.  We will be testing first thing in the morning on these days.  Please know that it is crucial that all students are here on time.  If your student is late to school and our testing has started, he/she will have to wait in a designated holding room until an adult can administer the test.  So, please help your child have four great testing days by making sure he/she:  1.  ...

Hello Parents!  What a surprise to have a school day off today!  I hope you could enjoy the time at home, too!  Here are some possibilities to keep your 4th grade busy today.  It would be wonderful if all kids could do some "E-Learning" from home....Lexia and RAZ-Kids for reading, Dreambox for math (all are on ltschools.com).  The website abcya.com is great for keyboarding skills and math fact review.  Just make sure your kiddo chooses 4th grade and then "skills." ...

Hello Parents!  Tomorrow (Friday) we are going to do an experiment in class and we need insulated travel mugs and/or thermos of any kind.  We are going to see how long the mugs can keep water hot.  So, if you have a thermos or travel mug made for hot/cold liquids, would you send it with your child tomorrow?  It will come home again at the end of the day (in case it's your favorite one!).  We will let you know which one or brand worked the best!  Thanks so much!  Have a good evenin...

Dear Parents,  Lawrence Township is in the middle of a fundraising campaign for United Way.  Tomorrow is "Hat Day!"  Students can wear a hat to school in exchange for a $1.00 donation to United Way.  Please consider allowing your child to wear a crazy, fun, or favorite hat to school and help him/her support this worthy cause by donating $1.00.  Also, our Student Council is collecting new socks for the homeless until this Friday, Nov. 17th.  Please donate a new pair or pairs of so...

Hello Parents!  We're going on a fieldtrip next Tuesday, October 31st!  We are heading to the State Capital building, the Indiana State Library, and Pres. Benjamin Harrison's Home.  I have sent permission slips home today.  Please sign and return tomorrow.  I am looking for 2 parent chaperones, so please let me know if you would like to come.  I can only have 2 and no more, so I'll just honor the first two parents I hear from.  You will have to have a background check.&nbs...
