Good afternoon! Can you believe we have just 8 days of school left before our kiddos are fourth graders!?! What a wonderful year we've had! Just a few quick reminders: 1. Field Day is Wednesday. WOW! Your students really accepted their Lexia challenge this quarter! All students were challenged to pass a level between when we returned from Winter break and leaving for Spring break. What is Girls Inc. Day? Girls Inc. will be teaming up with Purdue University’s Women in Engineering program to provide a day full of activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Istep Day 1

ISTEP day 1 is in the books! Students are also coming home with Blobs in a Bottle. Its a mix of vegetable oil, water and food coloring. If you add an AlkaSeltzer tablet, it creates a lava lamp in a bottle. The kids had a blast with these this morning! A video will be on the Mary Castle Facebook page later today. Hello families!!! ISTEP begins on Monday. We will test Monday-Wednesday beginning at 9:45. Please make sure your student is at school on time each day! Did you know 8-10 year olds need 10-11 hours of sleep per night?!?! That means if your student needs to get up at 6:30, s/he should be going to bed at 8:00 the night before.
