Today your child may have a book in a bag in his/her backpack.  Please have your child read it to you 2 times.  If they bring the chapter book, please read pages 5-9 only 2 times.  If your child does NOT have a book in a bag today, it's coming tomorrow or Thursday. Good evening!  I hope everyone has had a great weekend.   This week your child will probably be very tired each day as his/her body gets accustomed to the demands of 1st grade.  I go through this each year too.   Papers will start coming this week.  If something is not complete, do not worry.  If it was printed with the words homework on it, it may be done as extra practice but was not assigned.  In Math, the lessons are stapled together and I rarely do the entire packet.  Ther...

Good afternoon!  I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend.  Hopefully we won't have much rain tomorrow.   I am attaching our newsletter for the upcoming weeks.  Please note there will NOT be spelling this week since we don't have school on Friday.
